Last week was crazy week at my house. Actually, maybe every week is crazy week, but last week the craziness exceeded normal limits. Monday night I hosted a bridal shower for 35 women, Wednesday night 20 people came over to plan a community service project, Thursday I helped with a wedding rehearsal and went to the dinner afterwards. Henna Night and Life-Changing Lessons
Last night thirty-five women packed into my living room to talk, eat, sing, dance, and dye our palms orange. It was definitely another Middle Eastern moment to remind me that I actually do live here. We celebrated the upcoming marriage of a friend with a traditional henna night. The evening started out as a bridal shower, but at 9:00 the bride-to-be donned a red gown and veil. Ways to Get Past Overwhelming Mondays
If you’re like me, you feel overwhelmed on Monday after a busy weekend. You spent Saturday at the mall shopping for clothes with your kids, and Sunday was the church picnic.
